Today it is Cassie’s turn to appeal for a forever home.

This lovely girl was found tied up at the rescue centre along with her seven puppies – known to all our viewers as the “C” litter. She is only about 1 year old, so she was very young when she gave birth.

Unfortunately a lot of people in North Cyprus do not believe in neutering their dogs but they also don’t want any resulting puppies. So what do they do? They pass the problem on to someone else i.e. KAR or one of the other local animal shelters by dumping them.

Poor Cassie. Not only did she have 7 puppies to care for, this poor girl was covered in fleas – how awful she must have felt!!

But just look out her now! She is a picture of health and free from all nasty parasites. Cassie is a very calm dog and she just loves going for walks – she would make a wonderful companion for someone.
