We receive no government assistance for the work we do with the neglected, injured and homeless animals of North Cyprus. All our funding comes from donations, animal sponsorship, legacies, our charity shop and money raising events.

Another lucky dog travelled from our rescue centre to Germany this week. This is Oreo, a dog found abandoned on the street here in North Cyprus.
He has now flown to his new home with Tayfun - what a lucky boy he is!

Do you remember the sweet pup called Hazel? She was the very lucky puppy who came into our centre here in North Cyprus and found a loving home almost immediately!
She is now called Cinnamon and here she is enjoying her best life with her new family and her rather larger four-legged friend.

Kyrenia Animal Rescue is situated in the Besparmak Mountains in North Cyprus, and is home to over 250 dogs and cats. We receive no government assistance for the work we do with the neglected, injured and homeless animals of North Cyprus.

The fun starts at 3pm and promises an afternoon and evening of musical entertainment.![]()
Entry fee into the event is just 100tl for adults and free for children. Please remember that this is not a dog show, so please do not bring your four-legged friends with you - it will be far too hot for them. ![]()
The location is the Girne Belediyesi belpaz green area, opposite Mr Pound Plus. We hope to see you there!

This week we showcase clothes for the fuller figured ladies. Plus we have a new stock of shorts and plenty of swimwear.![]()
All are available at our shop in Ozankoy - open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 1pm. Please note there is no later closing on Wednesday this week due to our AGM taking place.
We would like to thank Meltem Sukan and all the team of walkers from @muflons_ who braved the heat and rumours about road closures and came together to enjoy nature, raise money for our centre and have fun. A morning and evening walk were done and the morning hike included a visit to our rescue centre.![]()

You may remember Alma who recently went to live in Germany. This is the dog that was found at the side of the road paralysed. ![]()
Here's a video of her receiving physiotherapy, isn't she doing well? Just look at her wagging tail - it looks like she's really enjoying her physio sessions.![]()

Join us with our friends at @muflons_ tomorrow for a hike around the Besparmak mountains. There will be 2 hikes on the day - the first from 7.30am to 9.30am and the second from 5pm until 7pm. Each event costs just 200tl so please come along and support us.![]()
The meeting place will be the carpark area at our rescue centre in Arapkoy. Please note the information on the poster - hike distance 6km, difficulty level moderate, no smoking and please wear appropriate footwear.![]()
