UPDATE ON GIRNE DOG!!

For those of you who have been concerned and were contacting us about the dog in Girne…

We had spoken to the owner as soon as we received the 1st report and had also immediately lodged a report with Girne Beledeyesi.

We received a follow up from Naile…..

” We took the dog and then to Vet. Clinic. Now the dog is under treatment. 
We started the required procedures according to the law about the owner. 
Everything looks will be done. The owner does contibution wth us and will do anything whatever is needed. We still chase the case and still not finished. Thank u for your report.

URGENT DOG BEDS REQUIRED

URGENTLY NEEDED…..

Due to the large number of mothers and feeding pups at the KAR centre, we are in desperate need of large plastic beds for the mums to care for their pups also towels, sheets or blankets to use in bedding.

Please help these mums and pups stay warm!!!!!!

Beds & bedding can be dropped at the centre or at the office in Karakum.

CALICO KITTEN LOOKING FOR NEW HOME

This pretty friendly little calico kitten was found (in a cardboard box) outside the KAR office, She is too small yet to be neutered but after being vet checked she will be looking for a new home. When she is old enough we will arrange for her to come in again for neutering (F.O.C). 

If you would like to meet her then please pop along to the KAR office 9 – 4.30 – she will be delighted to see you

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR UPDATE

YAY we did it again – we beat our record!!

Our Xmas Bazaar, held on Saturday December 8th at The Pia Bella, raised a fantastic record breaking 32699.50TL Thank you – Thank you – Thank you to everyone who helped make it a record breaking Bazaar .

Thank you to Lemar, Ankara Travel, Cyprus Paradise Holidays, Pacific Car Hire, Veni Vici restaurant, Blue Song restaurant, Sabrina Boat Tours, Highline Tours, Murfys bar for the lovely prizes that you donated to our raffle (which raised 10,000TL). 


Thank you to The Pia Bella and their staff for hosting the bazaar and for all of their help. 


Thank you to all of the cake bakers – the stall was a smash sell out. 


Thank you to all of the volunteers who put in many many hours of hard work before the day – sorting, pricing, checking items for the bazaar. 


Thank you to all of our fantastic volunteers who worked so hard on the day selling their hearts out.

Thank you to everyone who came along on the day and spent their money for us to us raise this fantastic amount of money to help our cats and dogs.
