Every animal in our care has a unique story and deserves a safe, loving future. Some are searching for their forever homes, while others are looking for kind sponsors to help provide food, veterinary care, and daily necessities until they are adopted.

We are in desperate need of sawdust for our cattery litter trays.
Our usual supplier can no longer help and our supplies are running really low. If you know of anyone in the Girne area who would be willing to provide us with sawdust, please let us know.

THE FOLLOWING DOGS ARE SEEKING SPONSORSHIP (MINIMUM £10/MONTH) OR ADOPTION

SMARTIE – DUMPED AT THE CENTRE & RAN LOOSE FOR SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE WE WERE ABLE TO CATCH HIM. HE FREQUENTLY OUTSMARTED US (HENCE HIS NAME) BY MANAGING TO EAT THE FOOD WE PUT IN THE TRAP WITHOUT TRIGGERING THE DOOR! HE IS VERY NERVOUS – EVEN NOW……..

MACK – CAME IN AS A PUP IN 2011. VERY FRIENDLY & GETS ON WELL WITH HIS BEST FRIEND FRANKIE! WHEN IT COMES TO TAKING HIS MEDICATION, HE SITS & WAITS ON TOP HIS KENNEL TO BE GIVEN HIS TABLET, THEN WILL JUMP ALL OVER YOU WITH EXCITEMENT!……

BONNY – ONE OF OUR OLDER GIRLS, WITH US SINCE 2009! LIKES TO BARK & SAY HELLO WHENEVER ANYONE PASSES HER KENNEL. SHE LOVES TO GO OUT FOR WALKS WITH HER BEST FRIEND MARDO…….

DAISY – BROUGHT INTO US AT THE END OF LAST YEAR WITH AN OLD BREAK TO HER BACK LEFT LEG. SHE WAS ONLY ABOUT 6 MONTHS OLD WHEN SHE ARRIVED. BACK LEG VERY WEAK SO WAS AMPUTATED A FEW MONTHS AGO, SHE MANAGES JUST FINE ON 3 LEGS. A VERY LOVING GIRL…..

TASSIE – FOUND DUMPED AT THE TOP OF THE LANE TO THE CENTRE ALONG WITH A PUPPY (NOT HERS) DURING THE DISTEMPER OUTBREAK. THANKFULLY SHE TESTED NEGATIVE FOR THE DISEASE. SHE LOVES CUDDLES & GETS VERY CROSS IF SHE IS IGNORED!……

THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE SEEKING SPONSORSHIP (MIN. £10/MONTH) OR ADOPTION

DORA – she’s just over 2 years old, came in as a small kitten. Enjoys a fuss when she’s eating her dinner but otherwise is quite a reserved cat. She gets on with her cattery friends and loves playing with toys.

RALF – a street cat who came to us this year after being hit by a car. He had an injury to one of his legs, which has now healed but he only has half a tail as a result of the accident. His party trick is to drop off the beam on to our cat lady when she goes in to feed him as he can’t wait for his food! Loves his food and is very affectionate.

BRADLEY – a very handsome boy. Has been with us for 3 years. Gets on well with other cats and loves cuddles.

MICKY & MONTY – double trouble. They are brothers who love playing rough and looking very innocent afterwards as if to say “It wasn’t us!!”

OLLIE – less than a year old but has eyesight problems, we’re not sure how much he can see. Very friendly but a bit shy – he’s getting used to his new friends in the cattery.
