Harbour kittensWhen the workman started digging up Girne Harbour. We were approached by one of the tour boats and asked if we could provide shelter to 3 kittens.
They were the last of the many Harbour cats, as all had been ‘lost’ during the building work.
So these 3 darlings are the last of the historical Harbour and boat cats.
The agreement was We would keep them safe and then return to the boat when the work was complete.
Sadly, the work has stalled and its not safe for them to go back.
The boat owners have asked if we can rehomre them now as it’s no life for them at the centre.
The boat owners are grateful for safe homes for this last remaining part of Harbour history.
