As temperatures rise many people (here, in the UK and Europe) are enjoying some warm summer sunshine. BUT please take care of your pets – dogs in particular – in the summer heat.
Heatstroke doesn’t just affect humans – it can affect dogs too.
Please take a look at the poster about heatstroke in dogs.
For anyone thinking of visiting our Rescue Centre to walk the dogs – we are still letting them go out on short walks BUT you do need to be there early ( 09.00 ).
Please be advised that as/if the weather gets hotter then we may have to stop all dog walking – it will be too hot for the dogs and for the walkers too.
