THANK YOU SLIMMING WORLD

A very big thank you goes out to our long term supporters at Slimming World, Catalkoy. Once again another fabulous donation received from them from raffles and fines for weight gains!
A special thank you to one of their members Jil.
We couldn’t do what we do without wonderful supporters like you!

DAPHNE

Here is the latest update on Daphne from Elaine our Centre Manager.
She has had her operation to remove the remaining stump and is now fit healthy and ready for her furever home!
We all know she has had such a poor start to her life and we can only guess at the traumas she has had to endure before arriving at the centre. Lets find her a loving, caring home to call her own, her very own furever home! She is such a loving gentle soul.
If you would like to meet Daphne you are welcome to come along and visit her at our rescue centre any day from 9am to 1pm.

CRUNCHIE

This handsome boy is Crunchie. Crunchie has been at our rescue centre in North Cyprus since 2014 – yes, 7 years!! He came in when he was around 5 months old, just a puppy and he has been with us ever since.
It would be wonderful if this calm, friendly dog could find a forever home – he would make a fantastic companion for someone. Iff you would like to meet Crunchie, please come up to the centre, we are open every day between 9am and 1pm.
Even if you can’t offer Crunchie a home, you can sponsor him for just £10 a month – please e-mail our office – kartrnc@gmail.com if you would like more information.

MORECAMBE

Morecombe came to the centre along with his Mum, brother (called Eric!) and sister back in 2011. Yes, 10 years he has been with us – far, far too long. His Mum and sister were lucky and both found homes soon after arriving at the centre. Morecombe was not so lucky.
It would be wonderful if Morecombe could spent his twilight years in a forever home – he has no known health issues and he gets on well with other dogs. We would just love it if someone offered him a forever home, he so deserves it as he is a lovely dog.
If you are interested please get in touch or come to the rescue centre and meet him for yourself. We are open every day between 9am and 1pm.

THE ‘C’ LITTER

I think it’s safe to say our rescue centre is slowly being taken over by puppies who are all desperately looking for their “furever” homes. These 7 little cuties have been on Facebook before but as we had little interest in them they are here again as they desperately need to find their special someone to love. Who can resist their cute little faces?
Please come and visit them at our Rescue centre in the Besparmak Mountains. It is open 7 days a week from 9am to 1pm and all visitors are made to feel very welcome.
The rescue centre is no place for any puppy/dog/kitten/cat to spend their entire life!

IN MEMORY OF CAROLE LLOYD

A generous donation was recently received from the estate of Carole Lloyd for which we are extremely grateful. It will be used to help the hundreds of dogs and cats in our care and the work we do in the community for the stray and abandoned animals. The plaque will be placed in memory of Carole at our Rescue Centre.

UPDATE FROM ROO (GOOBER)

We received this fabulous update from Roo’s (Goober) new owners.
Roo was re-homed back in April and we have previously had some interesting updates from Sue going through the stages of re-homing an older shelter dog.
“Hello Kar,
Just a quick update on our new addition ( 3months )
Roo ( re Goober ) has made alot of progress still a little jumpy outside of our home but a sweetheart through and through .
Still on meds, but not a problem , he actually went for his first official cut and when he came out looks like another dog . Of course more comfortable in this heat .
So just to let you know , our choice was correct ,
He is a living joy
So if anyone thinks taking on a older dog is a mistake I promise they are wrong .
Sending pics with our other rescue dog Lexi xxx”
We think the above says it all. With lots of love, hugs, cuddles and patience an older shelter dog will become a loving member of the family. Thank you Sue.
We have a shelter full of dogs and cats all waiting for their furever home. We are open 7 days a week from 9am to 1pm for you to come and visit us. Its nice and cool up in the mountains and you are guaranteed a warm woofy welcome from the dogs. A shelter is no place for any dog/puppy/cat/kitten to spend their entire lives. Every one of them deserves a home to call their own. A Furever Home.

‘G’ Litter – Boys

We previously posted a video of the girls in the “G” litter looking for their forever homes. Now it is the turn of the boys so here are Gordon, Gavin & Gerry – three very handsome pups. They love to run around and play but it would be even better if they had a garden of their own to explore. The pups are now 4 months old, vaccinated and microchipped. Please don’t let them spend their whole lives in a rescue centre – lets hear it for the boys!

‘G’ Litter – Girls

Here are 2 beautiful female pups still looking for their forever homes. Genevieve & Gabby. They are part of a litter of 7 that we rescued and sadly only 2 of the litter have been homed. As you can see from the video, both girls are healthy, lively pups and it would be wonderful if they could have a home of their own.
They are now 4 months old – please share for Genevieve & Gabby – and let’s find that forever home for them!
Watch this page for the “G” boys!
