GABBY, LOGAN AND MASON

We have received the following photos of Logan (in the harness) Mason (beautiful black dog enjoying cuddles), and Gabby (posing on the rug). All 3 dogs left the rescue centre to their new homes in Germany recently. They all have different new owners but Logan and Mason are in fact neighbours and enjoy exercise time together whenever they can.
Enjoy the rest of your lives in your happy furever after homes Gabby, Logan and Mason.

GENEVIEVE

Today’s appeal for a forever home comes from Genevieve. This gorgeous girl is the sister of Gerry, whose video we posted a few days ago. We are amazed that such lovely looking dogs haven’t been offered a forever home.
Genevieve is now about a year old and is quite a calm, gentle girl for her age. She would make a wonderful addition to a family as she has so much love to give.
As you can see, she is the picture of health and as with all our adult dogs, she is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Please come up to our rescue centre if you think you might just like to give Genevieve a home, she would be very happy to meet you! We are open every day between 9am and 1pm.

KAR – 25 YEAR ANNIVERSARY LUNCH AT LORDS PALACE

This year Kyrenia Animal Rescue is celebrating 25 years of helping the street and stray animals in the TRNC. It was way back in 1997 when we first started on a very much smaller scale than we are today, but more of that soon.
One of the many events we have planned was a lunch held at Lords Palace on 1 June. Tickets sold out before the event and people who attended commented on what a fabulous lunch it was. We would like to thank Lords Palace for their food, service and hospitality and for everyone who attended the event and helped to raise over 4,500 TL. Below is a picture of the wonderful raffle prizes.
THANK YOU EVERYONE

PRESSIE TIME AT THE CENTRE

It was fabulous to see Jo and David Cutts recently at the rescue centre. They adopted Karrie (was Karamel) not too long ago and we’ve all loved hearing about and seeing the family adventures in the UK.
What made the visit even more special was the suitcase full of goodies they brought with them. Thank you so much Jo and David. It was just like Christmas (but in May).
If you have a little room in your suitcase and would like to bring a donation over for us please contact our office on kartrnc@gmail.com and we can send you a copy of our “Wish List”. Thank you

IAN BRODIE

Is was with great sadness we learned of the recent passing of our long term supporter Ian Brodie. We would like to send our sincere condolences to Ian’s family and friends at this very sad time.
A collection has been made in memory of Ian by his friends and family and a generous donation was received by KAR. We would like to thank you all for thinking of us. RIP Ian.

CRUNCHY

Today it is Crunchy’s turn to appeal for a forever home.
Crunchy is one of our older dogs, he’s now about 8 years old and he has been at our rescue centre far too long. He’s a lively, friendly boy and as you can see, he is very affectionate.
He gets on well with other dogs and would just love a home to call his own. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Crunchy could live out his senior years with someone to care for him?
If you think that person could be you, then please come up to the centre to meet him. Visiting hours are 9am to 1pm every day. Please share for Crunchy!

GERRY

This handsome young man is Gerry.
He was one of a litter of 8 dumped at our rescue centre and he is now coming up to 1 year old. Five of his siblings have been lucky and found homes but sadly Gerry and 2 others in the litter have been left behind.
Gerry is a very friendly boy, likes his walks and also loves cuddles. Can you offer him a home? It would be wonderful if you could.
As with all our adult dogs Gerry is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you are interested, then please come to the centre and meet him – we are open every day between 9am and 1pm. Please share for Gerry – thank you!

TOM GASKIN

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our long time supporter Tom Gaskin and would like to send our sincere condolences to his family and friends. His funeral was held at Lapta Cemetery last Friday where a collection was taken for KAR. We would like to thank everyone for their generosity. The funds collected will go towards the care of our 300+ animals in our Rescue Centre. Thank You. RIP Tom
