WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS OF WINTER CLOTHES……
Our shops are in desperate need of winter clothes to sell to raise money for the Centre.
We need your womans, mens and childrens clothes. Anything hanging around in the back of wardrobe, we need it!
Your winter clothes donations, will help us keep our cats and dogs warm and well this winter….
spreading your warmth to our Centre.

A PILE OF PALLETS AND STEVE!
Our Elaine loves a ‘bin dive’ and collects pallets and bits of wood and stock piles them at the Centre… ‘just in case’.
We have a very talented volunteer from the UK who spends nearly all his holiday at the centre, helping where he can.
So, Steve plus Broken pallets, has resulted in these magnificent works of art for the cattery.
Honestly, this is 100% pallet wood.
One word. Wow!

LOVELY WORDS FROM A VISITOR TO OUR XMAS BAZAAR YESTERDAY…
The Xmas Fayre on Sat.at Sandal was a real blast from the past! friendly, happy ,great bargains, lovely helpers on the stalls, selling such lovely home and hand made goodies at bargain prices. Much fun and laughter , singing along to “mistletoe and wine” Good Old Cliff! Just as we all remembered it many years ago ,when we happily queued for an hour to get in! I hope the hard working volunteers raised lots of money for the animals, and thank you all for a lovely morning. Merry Christmas! Lyn Dyer

Raffle ticket prizes and winners

We are pleased to announce the winners of our two prize draws – see the attached results sheets. (You will need to click on each individual picture to see the full results for each draw)
The first sheet is for the main Christmas draw with a Luxury Christmas Hamper as 1st prize. The second sheet is for the draw sold on the day of the Bazaar.
KAR are very grateful to the many local businesses who offered support with prizes for both raffles – please do your utmost to support them even if you were not lucky enough to be a winner!
All remaining prizes can be collected from the Gladrags Shop/office in Karakum between 9am and 1pm Monday to Friday.

Our very own hero….. Steve.

Steve came back to Trnc for 2 weeks to help with a drainage project and ended up replacing taps, repairing the toilet and made the fab cat trees. He came every day. Donated some much needed tools. Shortbread and hot chocolate for staff/volunteers. Thank you for your hard work

our lovely OAP Shy.

We’re coming to the end of Oldies month and today we are appealing for a home for Shy.
As you can guess, she is a shy, quiet girl – she is about 14-15 years old. Shy enjoys her treats and would love a comfy chair in a quiet home where she could relax and snooze to her heart’s content.
It would be perfect if Shy could find a home so she can spend her twilight years peacefully and comfortably. We would really love that for her.
Please come up to the rescue centre and get to know Shy – you never know, she must just be the kitty for you. We are open to visitors 7 days a week between 9am and 1pm.
