CENTRE INFORMATION

we have done a little experiment.

Cost of centre food. 2019 vs 2023 that just less than 4 years.

Cat food:

2019: 107.76TL

2023: 510TL

Dog food:

2019: 77.60TL

2023: 410TL

That’s a rise of

373% and 428%

Our 2023 fundraisers will be aimed at keeping the Centre animals fed.

To everyone,

Thank you for your support during 2022. It has been a year of change at KAR but foremost and utmost the care of our Centre animals has been paramount in everything achieved this year. We move forward into an uncertain economic 2023 with prices rising on food and medicine for the animals. We continue to plan and come up with inventive ways to raise money, but ultimately it is down to us, our supporters, our guardian angels.

We thank you for every penny sent, donated and raised, during 2022 and hope your support will continue during 2023.

This is the Ederner cat reported to us as being very thin with a large wound on her head.

She was removed from Ederner a week ago and has made great progress since.

A MESSAGE FROM SUE NOTT ON BEHALF OF TIFFANY

To all my friends at KAR,

I have been with my family for 6 months and just wanted to let you all know how happy I am.

I live with my 4 hoomans and my 4 legged companion Tinchy.

My family gives me lots of kisses and cuddles and I have a big box of toys which are just for me to play with.

I love it in the mornings when my hoomans wake up and I’m allowed to go run upstairs and jump on the beds. I go the dog park every day and my favourite bit is chasing squirrels.

I love to run through the puddles and last week I enjoyed playing in the snow. My friend Tinchy doesn’t play much because mummy says he’s old.

I’m so happy living in this place called England it’s much colder than Cyprus but I have a lovely bed with blankets to keep me warm.

I miss you all very much and i hope one day you will all find your forever homes just like me.

I must go mummy is about to take me to the dog park

Handan Update

HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY – HANDAN!

It’s me again. Handan, I was adopted one year ago today! Mummy said I had to write to you because I was an ‘oldie’ that got adopted and I’ve been a very, very good girl.

I’ve had such a lovely 1st year. One day, I went to a place called ‘Brighton’ it was very busy but I was so good and lots of people made a fuss of me when I walked down the sea front like a princess.

In summer I had the very important job of chief flower checker. Ever…
