Our Jack.

Jack says Hello and please give me a home!
This handsome boy is now 6 months old and came into the centre with his Mum. He is a lively, friendly dog who would just love a big, secure garden to run around in and explore. Mum was a cocker spaniel so we don’t think Jack will grow much bigger.
He is vaccinated and will be neutered before homing. If you think Jack would be a perfect addition to your family, then please come up to the rescue centre and take him for a walk. He would…

update on Violet.

We are pleased to report that Violet has recovered from the surgery on her leg. You may remember she was the victim of a hit & run and left with a broken leg and some broken teeth. Poor Violet, she was in such pain when she was first found.
That is all behind her now, she is becoming more confident and this is her appeal for a forever home. Just look at her sweet face, she would make a wonderful companion for someone! Violet is a very friendly girl, she gets on well with other dogs and she would just love a family to take care of her. She’s just started her vaccinations and she will also be microchipped.
If you think Violet would like to come and live with you, then please come up to the rescue centre and meet her. The centre is open every day between 9am and 1pm.
Violet says “Thank you for reading my story and please, please share for me!!”

Dog Registration Renewal now due.

❗REGISTRATION RENEWAL NOW DUE❗
It’s that time of year. Each Beledeyesi has a desk to enable the renewal of dog licences.
Visit your local office with your vet book. Proof of microchip needed.

Our Teddy

Today’s appeal for a home comes from Teddy.
He came into the rescue centre with his sister Tara when they were just 5 weeks old. Tara was a very lucky girl and now lives in the UK with a lovely family. Sadly Teddy wasn’t so lucky and he is still waiting for someone to give him a forever home.
Teddy is now about 1 year old, a friendly active boy and he just loves going for walks. He only weighs 8.5kgs so is only a small dog.
If you have room in your heart and also your home for a little man, then Teddy could be the dog for you! You can meet Teddy at the rescue centre, we are open every day between 9am and 1pm.
Thank you for reading Teddy’s appeal and please share for him!

Little E and Ernold

This is a special appeal for a forever home for 2 of our older residents.
Little E & Ernold are sister & brother. They were brought to the rescue centre back in March 2014 along with their Mum. Their Mum, Mrs E, was lucky and went to live in America, sadly her 2 offspring were left behind.
They are now 9 years old and both are really friendly and gentle. They love going for walks and would be so happy in a home after all these years at the centre.
Unfortunately Little E has a problem with her foot, as it is deformed (you can see from the photos) and it has got worse over the years. As the bones in her foot have calcified, she is in pain and keeps licking the area just above her foot, painkillers are no longer working. So, the only alternative is for her leg to be amputated – it may sound drastic but we are sure she will manage perfectly well on three legs and once she has recovered from the operation, she will be free of pain.
We would like love for Little E & Ernold to be homed together so they can spend their twilight years enjoying each other’s company in comfort.
Don’t forget, our rescue centre is open every day between 9am and 1pm – so if you would like to come up and meet these two lovely dogs, you will be most welcome!
