Good News from Germany……

We have had another update about some of our dogs who were adopted in Germany …… Lotte (the KAR dog formerly known as Gypsy) and Ajo (formerly known at KAR as Albert) live next door to each other.

” Attached you find Ajo (formerly Albert), who left the center before the distemper breakout last spring. He is doing so good with Askan his human. They both are not only exploring the urban and countryside of Berlin by foot, but also the Alps, etc. Besides Ajo and Lotte (formerly Gypsy) are BFF. There are more great adventures to come”

Thank you for lifting the morale of the staff at the Centre, who at this time, desperately need all our support. Please, Please, visit and review us. Everything we do here at KAR is for the Cats and Dogs at the Centre in Arapkoy.

The reviews are a joy to read and really do make it all worthwhile!!!!

LucyLoo finds her furever home.

TFIF!!!! Its Friday and this is very special…… We had lots of interest in our LucyLoo, last Saturday she made her way to her new furever home, with the wonderful Karen and Mick Wells (who adopted Poppy last year, and fostered Kylie). She settled into her new busy life with the upmost ease, made a new best friend Patch within the hour!!! We had a message on Sunday that she had even gone into the pool for her first swimming lesson. Thank you AGAIN Karen and Mick, enjoy your new and very happy life LucyLoo. Please consider one of puppies or older dogs if you are looking to rescue.

Leigh and Dave Wilkins, Centre Visitors.

We received this message for Leigh and Dave Wilkins last night:
We walked Beau and Lucy on Monday, and thought they were both gorgeous, so went back today before we fly home. We loved spending time with the dogs and having a look around the centre finding out how it all works and what everyone does.
Lucy and Beau are both amazing dogs, Beau especially has such a loving, gentle nature that we have decided to sponsor him 😀

PLEASE BE LIKE LEIGH AND DAVE…. VISIT THE CENTRE, WALK A DOG AND THEN SPONSOR ONE. £10 PER MONTH. Make a difference.

message from Holly Anne, visitor to the Centre

So much hard work is going into this centre, there are so many stray animals around the area but thanks to these guys even the ones not directly in their care are being looked after. This is a charity that desperately needs support and needs help raising awareness of the amount of dogs & cats being abandoned in the area.

Veni Vici, Lapta. Drop off for ‘softies’

Just a reminder that Veni Vici in Lapta is a drop off point for the ‘softies’ for the centre. Every bag donated goes straight to the Centre for the Dogs and Cats. Our puppies get through heaps of bedding on a daily basis….. which needs to be replaced. Thank you so much for all your donations. Ian and Vanessa collected 4 huge bags yesterday (Monday 6th).
