ABBY

Here we have another lovely girl looking for her forever home! This is Abby who was found as a small pup wandering around in Girne (Kyrenia) She is now about 5 years old and has such a sweet nature – she is quite quiet, loves her walks and she gets on well with other dogs. It would be such a shame if Abby were to live her whole life at the rescue centre, a loving home is what she would really like. You can come to the centre to see her if you are interested in Abby – we are open every day between 9am and 1pm.
Please share for Abby and thank you for watching!

SHADOW

We’ve posted lots of videos of our dogs so now it is the turn of one of our cats! This cute kitty is Shadow who is now about 7 or 8 months old. She was one of a litter who came to the centre when she was just a few weeks old. As you can see from the video, Shadow enjoys a cuddle and a fuss – what she needs most of all is a home of her own. If you are interested in offering this pretty girl a forever home, then please get in touch or come to the rescue centre to meet her – the centre is open every day between 9am and 1pm.

TIKE

Here’s our latest handsome boy looking for a home! This is Tike, who has been at our rescue centre here in North Cyprus for 4 years, when he was brought in as a tiny pup. He’s a lively young man who loves his walks and he has been known to tap visitors on the back when they go past his run! See how he pricks his ears up when Elaine says his name. Tike is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated – next on his list is a forever home!
Please come up to the centre if you would like to meet him, the centre is open every day between 9am and 1pm.

MASON

Mason says “Hello from sunny North Cyprus!” This youngster is looking for his forever home. He came into the centre about a year ago, when he was one of a litter who were just 6 weeks old. His brothers both found homes but poor Mason wasn’t so lucky. As you can see, he is very friendly and loves cuddles – but what he needs most of all is a forever home! Please get in touch if you are interested in offering Mason a home or come up to the centre and meet him for yourself – we are open every day between 9am and 1pm. Please also share for Mason – thank you!

PITA

Pita is still looking for her forever home. We posted this lovely girl a few weeks ago but unfortunately she is still waiting for someone to offer her a home. She is really friendly, loves her walks – actually she runs, rather than walks – and she is full of energy! Pita would love a large, secure garden to run around in and explore – she is definitely not a lap dog! She is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated as are all our adult dogs. So if you think this whirlwind of a girl would fit into your life then please come up to the centre to see her or contact our office. Let’s find Pita a home!!
And a special thank you goes to Evie for her unrehearsed walk on and walk off part!

AND THAT LEAVES 1

Back in February we posted a gorgeous video of 3 puppies tearing around having lots of fun with Elaine and just generally being puppies. These puppies were the remaining 3 from a litter of 5 dumped at the Rescue Centre desperately poorly with worm infestation and Giardia Echinococcus. After a great deal of love, care and attention by the centre staff the first 2 (Axle and Allegra) were ready to go to their furever homes leaving the 3 in the video. A couple of weeks later another of the litter, Atlas, also found their loving furever home leaving 2. We are so pleased to announce that Apollo was rehomed last week and now has two lovely girls to shower him with love and take good care of him. So, that leaves Arlo all on his own. Arlo is now 5 months old and desperately needs his own furever home. Our centre is not a forever home . All our animals need a special person /family to call their own. Is there any one out there with room in their heart and their home that could offer Arlo a loving furever happy ever after home? If you think Arlo is the one for you please either visit our Rescue Centre (open 7 days a week from 9am to 1pm) or contact our office on kartrnc@gmail.com Fingers crossed for Arlo.

ROO ROO WHERE ARE YOU?

Roo travelled to the UK this week to be with her “furever” family ……. not long after she arrived we had the following update…
” Hi Kim & Margaret
Roo has arrived safely with us & settled in remarkably well considering it’s only been 24 hours. She came out for her first lead walk with Honey Ebony & my daughters dog Piglet she seemed to love it 🤗 She follows me about everywhere & is very loving she’s already part of the family 🥰🐾🥰🐾xxxx
Roo Roo we are so happy for You.

MAYA

This gorgeous girl is Maya and she is looking for her forever home. She came to the centre back in 2018 along with 5 puppies. The pups were really lucky and all found homes but poor Maya wasn’t so fortunate and is still waiting for a home. She is a Kokoni small breed and around 4.5 years old. Maya is very friendly and gets on well with other dogs, she would make a wonderful companion for someone! As with all our adult dogs, she is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. If you think Maya would like to become a member of your family then please contact the office or come to the centre to meet her. The centre is open every day between 9am and 1pm.

GIGI AND OREO SAY GOODBYE TO SHADOW AND THE RESCUE CENTRE

Thursday was a happy and sad day at the Rescue Centre.
Happy because Gigi and Oreo, 2 of our 3 little kittens, were picked up by their new mum, Tijen, and made their way to their happy ever after furever home. We’re sure life will be full of fun and mischief in their new home.
Sad because that means their sibling, Shadow, is left all alone at the Rescue Centre. If you remember Shadow was re-homed but found herself back at the Rescue Centre due to no fault of her own and now her brother and sister have gone she has no family left to play with. Shadow is fully vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped and ready to go to her own happy ever after.
If you have room in your heart and in your home for Shadow please either contact our Office in Kyrenia by email on kartrnc@gmail.com and they will arrange for you to meet Shadow at the Rescue Centre or call in at the Rescue Centre in person. We are now open 7 days a week from 9am to 1pm and welcome all visitors with open arms.

SHEBA

Sheba says Hello from a rather cold and wet North Cyprus! We posted a video of this beautiful girl a couple of weeks ago and we are amazed that we have had no interest in her whatsoever. Sheba has such a lovely nature and so deserves a loving home. She is a young dog who would love a secure garden to run around in and she also enjoys going for walks. If you are interested, please come up to the centre and meet her – we are open every day between 9am and 1pm. Please share for Sheba and let’s find her a forever home!
