Ginny and her babies.
We are pleased to report that Ginny and her litter are all doing well. She is being a really good Mum and her pups are all thriving.
As soon as they are old enough, we will be appealing for homes for them (and for Ginny as well!). In the meantime here’s a few photos of Mum and her brood, we think Ginny likes having her photo taken!!

It’s cute puppy time!
Here are Ginny’s puppies all snuggled up together, they look so cosy and happy. They are now 14 days old and doing really well.
We will keep you updated on their progress, we can’t wait for them to start exploring – not sure that Ginny will be happy about that though!

PLEASE HELP!
There is no mains water supply available to the Rescue Centre and therefore all water has to be delivered by tanker. Every delivery of 15 tonnes is costing 1,000 Turkish lira (approx. £50) and during the summer months (with the very high temperatures) the water consumption is greatly increased, using between 7– 10 tonnes of water daily. The dogs and cats not only need this for drinking and bathing to keep cool, but also for the daily washing down and disinfecting of their living areas.
We are appealing for donations to help pay for water for the rescue centre so that we can supply this basic life requirement to our dogs and cats.

HOUSE AND HOME SHOP OPENING HOURS
We are pleased to announce that with immediate effect our House and Home shop in Kyrenia town centre (behind the firestation) will now be open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
ONCE AGAIN WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP – AND EVERYONE CAN HELP WITH THIS PLEA!
We desperately need donations for our charity shops please.
Here’s the plan. Give yourself a couple of hours “you time” and set yourself up by your wardrobe together with fan/ac and a stock of black bags. Go through your wardrobe one article of clothing at a time. If it’s too big, too small. or hasn’t been worn in the last 12 months put it in a black bag. And repeat. Once you’ve been through all you clothes bring the black bags full of clothes to one of our charity shops or our office. Our Town Centre shops are open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 1pm and our Office/Gladrags is open Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm.
We also accept donations of household goods, textiles etc.
You’ll be surprised how satisfying it is!
ANIMALS NEED WATER TOO
With the hot weather, both here and in the UK, please put out some water so that animals and birds have something to drink. Also, please walk your dogs when the weather is a bit cooler – either early in the morning or later on in the evening.
