Everyone knows that dogs need regular exercise and that probably we humans should exercise more than we do too. So we have an incentive to help you tick both these boxes in one go.
All we are asking is for you to walk your dog a mile a day during the month of November. That really isn’t that far especially if you take your dogs out twice a day. In order to raise money we have some sponsor forms available at our office and the rescue centre. If you’d rather not go down the sponsor route you could just put coins or notes in a jar every time you take the dog out. Then bring the jar into the office in December or send the funds into one of our bank accounts either here in the TRNC or the UK (please mark your donation “Dog walking”). If you would like to join in but don’t have a dog we have loads for you! Pop up to the rescue centre and take one (or more) of ours out for a walk! The centre is open 7 days a week from 9am to 1pm. The dogs will love you for doing it so that’s a third tick in the box too.
